  • Food Pantry

    Kingwood’s Food Pantry is open every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am-12pm.

  • Blessing Box

    Kingwood has a community blessing box located outside the front of the building. Non perishable food items and toiletries are placed inside to bless anyone in need.

  • AGAPE Counseling

    Kingwood sponsors Suzanne Blackwood, MS, LPC-MHSP, an AGAPE Christian counselor, and hosts a satellite office weekly on Fridays from 10am-6pm at the church building.

  • DivorceCare

    DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them toward recovery after separation or divorce. Kingwood offers this 13-week video-based series based on Christian principles, no matter what circumstances led to the breakup or your current marital status. There is a $20 charge for the workbook.

  • GriefShare

    GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences - the death of a family member or friend. Kingwood offers this 13-week video-based series based on Christian principles. There is a $20 charge for the workbook. We have occasionally hosted Surviving the Holidays and Loss of a Spouse events if a weekly group does not work for you. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

  • Northfield Elementary

    Kingwood has chosen to adopt Northfield Elementary and support them in various ways, including providing teacher appreciation luncheons, supplies for students, and events for the school. Kingwood also helps by giving food or clothing to any student identified with a need.

  • Isaiah 117 House

    Isaiah 117 house is a Christian organization dedicated to changing the way foster care begins. After being removed from their home, children can spend the night in a loving place while they wait for their foster care placement to be arranged. Many kids come with nothing so the Isaiah 117 house packs each child a brand new bag full of new clothes, toiletries and toys to take with them. Kingwood Children’s Ministry supports the Isaiah 117 house by sponsoring the size 18 month girl and boy clothing tubs.

  • Safe Haven Stepping Stones

    Kingwood partners with the Stepping Stones Safe Haven program once a month to help women and children in need. We offer them meals, encouragement, and a safe place to spend the night at our building.

  • Journey Home

    The Journey Home’s primary focus is to serve the homeless and disadvantaged of Rutherford County, by providing practical resources and relationships that encourage faith, economic stability, wholeness, and reintegration into community life. Kingwood supports The Journey Home financially and takes donations of items when needed.



  • ATLAS

    ATLAS is a program in Rutherford County to help children in the school system who are dealing with homelessness by providing food, clothes, school supplies, and other support for their families. Kingwood supports Christiana Elementary students in the ATLAS program with weekend food bags.

  • Candle Wishes

    Candle Wishes is a local organization that helps children in need have a happy birthday. Gifts are donated by individuals for each child and a monthly birthday party is hosted for families to celebrate together. Kingwood sponsors the March birthday gifts and party.



  • Fall Coat Drive

    Every fall, Kingwood holds a coat drive to collect new or gently used coats to be distributed to homeless children in the Rutherford County Schools through the ATLAS program.

  • Thanksgiving Baskets

    Kingwood takes food donations each year to assemble Thanksgiving meal baskets for families in need. These families are identified through the Rutherford County Schools.

  • Christmas Gifts

    Kingwood sponsors children’s Christmas gifts for families in need each year. These families are identified through the Rutherford County Schools. Kingwood also gives each family food for a Christmas meal.
