Helping Brazilians Plant Churches In Brazil

Kingwood is now the Overseeing Church of the Brazil Church Planting Ministry and the Charley Huffman Institute of Evangelism. After many years of working in partnership with the Ovilla Church of Christ, Kingwood took over the role on March 1, 2024. Paul Dawson is the Ambassador and operates from his home in Texas, while Giovanni Vantuil is the Director of the Institute that operates out of Betim, Brazil. The Institute currently has active on-site students, online students, and part-time night students working on different levels of curriculum.

The ministry also works in Bello Horizonte, Brazil, through the efforts of Ricardo Maia as he frequents the churches of Esmerelda and Palmeiras, and in Uberlandia, Brazil, where we support full-time ministers Celio Santos and Delmiro Neto as they work with the church there and in smaller towns of Morrinhos, Monte Alegre, and Caldas Novas.
